Anything you want to know?
Which image files can I upload?
PNG, JPEG and WebP. The no-account trial takes 2 cuts at a time, up to 5 MB each, and 10 cuts a day. Once you have an account you upload a whole episode at once.
Which languages do you translate?
Today ToonCat reads Korean originals and translates them into English. Japanese is in preparation.
Is my work sent to a server?
Yes — the translation and the lettering run on ToonCat servers. Trial images are not stored; you simply get the result back. Episodes you upload after signing up are kept in your account. Your work is never used to train any AI model.
Can I edit the translated lines?
Yes. After you sign up, edit the English in the review screen and only that cut is lettered again. An edited line stays yours the next time the episode is translated.
What does it cost?
Nothing right now — this is a test period. The paid service will be based on plans with a daily translation limit, and the free plan is 15 cuts a day. The daily limit counts the cuts you asked us to translate that day, and any cut we could not process is returned to that day’s limit. Billing is not switched on yet.
Who owns the translated result?
You do. Publish it anywhere you like. The creator license spells out the details.
